“The White Dove of the Desert” is the nickname for the San Xavier mission. It was built in the 1700s by Spanish missionaries back when Arizona was part of New Spain. The church still stands today, and it is even more incredibly beautiful on the inside. This place holds a special memory for me as my parents took me here when I was little.
